- Angelo - "I want to go on a bug expedition!"
 Angelo’s favorite subject is science; he is particularly fascinated by the study of insects. His wish was to travel to Florida to pursue one of his favorite activities- bug exploration! Angelo was ecstatic when he heard that he would be embarking on a “bug expedition" to some of Florida’s most exciting museums and nature centers. Over the course of his trip, Angelo received behind the scenes tours of the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity as well as the Butterfly Rainforest exhibit located in the Florida Museum of Natural History. A hands-on bug experience in the Museum’s Department of Entomology and Nematology was icing on the cake of his very exciting wish trip!
- Brenna - "I want to be a published writer!"
Brenna is an intelligent young woman with a special passion for literature; she always dreamt of one day becoming a published writer. Brenna's wish was to meet and learn from the editors of an accredited publishing company. When she was informed that she would be visiting the Harper Collins Publishing House in New York City, Brenna was ecstatic! The publishers were very impressed with Brenna’s writing and they gave her quite a memorable experience – they gave her own editor! Brenna is now working closely on “re-writes” while continuing to learn the “ins and outs” of the publishing world. We are pleased to say that she will debut her published work in the near future!
- Corbin - "I want to be an astronaut!"
 Corbin has a real passion for math and science. He is particularly interested in space and would someday like to become an astronaut. Corbin's wish was to visit Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida to learn more about an exciting career in this field. His wish was made extra-special when he got to meet NASA astronauts and spend time asking questions about their own adventures beyond the stars! This experience solidified Corbin’s ambition to one day making his own visit to space. The trip was a much-deserved experience for a child whose strength, endurance and dedication continue to be an inspiration to us all.
- David "I want my old car remodeled!"
David became the proud owner of a 1985 Porsche, a gift from his cool uncle, but his ride needed some serious TLC. His wish was to have his weathered Porsche turned into a head-spinning show car and that wish came true! David’s car was transformed with the help of a new windshield, bodywork, and headlights (to name a few). Topping off this restoration was a cherry red paint job that was buffed to a polish! David beamed when he took his new set of wheels for its first drive. Though the car itself is a material gift, his feelings of confidence and joy are the real treasures that David has received. Reminding us all that positive energy can do remarkable things!
- Dominic - "I want to go to Disney World!"
 Always full of energy, eight-year-old, Dominic’s favorite activities include playing video games, going to Chucky Cheese restaurant and rooting for his favorite football team. He loves amusement parks, and is drawn by his sense of adventure towards even the most frightening roller coasters! Dominic was ecstatic when he found his wish to visit Disney World would come true. He was mesmerized by the Magic Kingdom, where he came upon new and exciting attractions at every corner. He proudly stated, “I rode almost every ride!” Of course, no fun-filled experience is complete without ice cream, which Dominic enjoyed every evening of his amazing trip!
- Matthew - "I want to go to Hawaii!"
Matthew is a bright-eyed young man whose character is defined by his sense of humor and his compassion for friends and family. He loves to listen to classic rock, play soccer and he enjoys the occasional hearty meal of pizza and cake! Matthew has always loved visiting beautiful places and experiencing new things, so a trip to Hawaii for some exotic dining and fun in the sun was, to him, the perfect wish. His favorite activities throughout the action packed trip were snorkeling, surfing and sailing, which he described as "simply amazing". “You guys are a sign of hope for kids all over the nation. I can’t imagine a nicer thing that somebody has done for me while I’ve been battling this illness.”
- William - "I want to go on a cruise!"
Four-year-old William loves spending sunny days with his family; he also really enjoys watching Disney movies. When William’s wish to go on a Disney Cruise was granted, he was given the opportunity to experience these two simple pleasures in a magical setting. While on the ship William saw his favorite Disney movies come to life, visited with some of his favorite Disney characters and enjoyed some sunshine and fun with his family. The affect on William was magical, and his family was deeply moved by the joy radiating from his smiling face throughout the trip.
- Wyatt - "I want to go to Magic Kingdom!"
Like many children his age, Wyatt imagined what it would be like to visit the exciting attractions at Disney World. An energetic and fun-loving child, Wyatt's wish was to meet his favorite Disney characters in Florida. When he learned that his wish would be granted, Wyatt was filled with excitement. In addition to enjoying the Magic Kingdom’s endless attractions, Wyatt and his family were able to stay at Give Kids the World Village, a resort dedicated solely to helping the dreams of children like Wyatt come true. Wyatt’s mother said, “The trip was more amazing than we could have imagined, the Village is truly a wonderful place.”
